Vermilion Events is featured at NACE National Conference

Vermilion Events creative director David Twigger was asked to chair the Design Experience portion for this years Experience 2015.  NACE’s national conference, held this year at the Scottsdale Fairmont Princess Resort.

With 4 vignettes chosen in multiple themes, Vermilion Events took lead in designing the concept for 3 of them.  Victorian/Steampunk, Mid-Century Modern and a Technology Vignette featuring a table completely made up of  LED panels.

This huge opportunity was an incredible opportunity for Vermilion Events to show off their event design scope.  Not wanting to design only a tabletop, we chose to design a full vignette, and idea and an inspiration.  We wanted to create a spark in our fellow planners and help them take these themes to a new level.  Working with nothing but the best in the city, Vermilion gathered our creative partners and incredible spaces.

We want to thank our partners, for which this couldn’t be possible.

Kool Party Rentals, Event Rents, CORT Event Furnishings, AFR Event Rentals, Stylish Events by Lisa, Creative Backstage, Quest Drape, Vintage Rentals, Danny from the Doubletree Scottsdale, Candle Concierge, Creative Occasions, Jennifer Ryan, Herb Box Catering and Michael Mazzacco, Glamour and Woods, Amy Simon and we hope we didn’t leave anyone out. We also want to thank all of our models who joined us to make these vignettes come to life.  Live action is the best tool we have in our arsenal to drive your point home.  As you can see this was truly a team effort.  Any of these themes can be used for your corporate event, social or wedding event, or even non-profit gala.

The Mid-Century Modern Vignette  had a true Mad Men feel.  White and Gold dominated the space, but we took a bit of orange, and those famous textures from what is our favorite era.  A table that was filled underneath with martini glasses, a Norman Mailer Marylin Monroe table book, and some wild print pillows are the small items that make a big difference.

The Steam-Punk inspired Victorian vignette really took over the room.  With our model positioned on top of the structure we had her dress drape all the way down around the space.  Opening up to create an inspiring space.

Our vintage Hollywood space was really created by the ladies at candle concierge.  Creating that really simple but glamorous feel.  The addition of just the right model, with hair and make-up appropriate and draped in pearls, this scene was to be reminiscent of those old Hollywood photo shoots.

Our last vignette was our brightest.  A table created completely of LED panels.  With this, the table was able to completely be customized to any setting or theme.  Fire, water, branding, chocolate anything you can think of and this table will become.  Culminating with a table setting that had a centerpiece that grew and bloomed while you had dinner.

Fun, crazy, incredible times.  Vermilion Events and David Twigger was honored to have been able to bring together all of this talent and beauty and we hope you enjoy.
