Vermilion Events and creative director David Twigger were chosen for the task of designing and producing the Esprit Awards. These are the awards climax for the ILEA Live 2016 International Conference, held in Austin, TX this year. A daunting task to say the least with each person in the audience being and expert in their own right in events. Pitching a classic theme of “Through the looking glass” David took this and put an edgy spin on it. Doing 3 different table design including 2 long 30 person Queen of Hearts tables complete with rose head centerpieces. Our co-producers for the event were the amazing team from Strong Events. Highlight for Strong was the stage set. Not wanting people to arrive in the same ballroom both teams decided to strike the existing stage set and create a new one. This being a 3 dimensional rabbit hole affect complete with text from the original book. BRAVO Entertainment jumped in bring amazing entertainment from around the country, including a one of a kind photo experience, video mapping on the head liner performers dress and a rocking Alice DJ for the after party – showing off her touch screen mixer board.
Awards were given out, Vintage Tea Company passed drinks in tea pots and video kiosk of the Cheshire Cat welcomed all. Rave reviews have come in for the event and Vermilion Events couldn’t be more honored and humbled. Thank you all to who were involved.
